Vex Challenges â Game Overview
Vex Challenges is a fast spin-off in the Vex platform series built around short, timed stages. Instead of slowly exploring a long act, you have to read the route quickly, move with precision and reach the goal before the timer expires.
Current Vex information describes 75 short stages with three stars to collect in each. That structure makes the game easy to retry: first learn the safe route, then return for cleaner movement and better star collection.
How to play Vex Challenges
Run through each obstacle course, avoid lethal hazards and reach the end as quickly as possible. The timer rewards decisiveness, but blindly holding forward usually creates more restarts. A one-second pause to read a trap can save the entire attempt.
Vex Challenges controls
- A / D or Left / Right Arrow: move.
- W or Up Arrow: jump or climb upward where supported.
- S or Down Arrow: crouch, slide or move downward where the level allows it.
- R: restart in supported builds.
How to clear timed stages
- Use the first attempt to identify the route rather than forcing a perfect run immediately.
- Restart quickly when a mistake makes the remaining time unrealistic.
- Collect stars after you can already finish the stage consistently.
- Use small directional corrections near spikes and narrow platforms.
Why Vex movement feels difficult
Vex levels are designed around momentum and precise timing. Holding a movement key for slightly too long can change the landing point, while hesitating before a jump can waste the small time margin. Improvement comes from making the same route more repeatable.
